Through intensive research and development, Cerpus wishes to be an
international actor and driving force in the development of innovative
ICT-aided solutions. This work is well documented by the production of
several published articles. Cerpus has a broad network og national and
international partners and has cooperated with several actors within

Cerpus has since the start in 2002 had the educational sector as its goal for research and development and has gained broad experience in project development in an area that lies in the intersection between ICT and pedagogy. Our specific competence is focused on the use of semantic technologies for learning and education as well as semantic web technologies in general. Cerpus is known for the development of knowledge systems such as BrainBank Learning and Kuling 2.0

Kuling.net

Kuling.net is a pedagogically designed resource on the internet within which both schools and others may find exciting information about their local surroundings which the local museums of the Øksnes, Sortland and Bø municipalities of Vesterålen, northern Norway has made available to the public. Many of the resources are trustworthy resources added by authorized contributors, comprising local stories and descriptions as well as photographic material. All resources are marked with an icon of quality when added by a qualified person in order to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the material. The museums of Bø, Sortland and Øksnes have the editorial and professional responsibility for the content found on the website.

NDLA

"The National Arena for Digital Learning" (NDLA) is a joint initiative of the communal centres of Norway with the intention of establishing freely available, dynamic websites for all subjects in the Norwegian high school. Cerpus is engaged as advisor and web master for the NDLA system.

Drupal

Drupal is a popular and powerful open source web CMS written in PHP and licensed under the GNU general Public License. It is developed and maintained by a very large community of users and developers, and is thus a vital and dynamic open source project. Drupal is being used for everything from small and medium scale personal web pages, blogs, social web sites, educational sites to large enterprise sites.

Cerpus has experience from several projects in integrating and tailoring Drupal for customers as well as being a web master for the NDLA system which currently runs on Drupal.
