Using Camtasia

Camtasia is screen capturing software that enables the user to produce video with accompanying sound, also known as "screen casts", which can be exported to several formats adapted for the web.

The basic course has as its goal to enable the course participants to record screen activity both with and without sound, and finally to publish the results. The course is based on the concept of "learning by doing", and will focus largely on practicing to obtain skills. You will be guided step by step in production and work flow by creating videos with sound (voice over as well as live), Picture in Picture (PiP), web cam videos as well as Power Point presentations using Camtasia. The course also contains a basic introduction into different sound and video formats for the web.
